About our Football Predictions

At FootyForge, we are committed to full transparency regarding the outcome of our predictions. This is why we always display performance data regarding the predictions made in a league. Unlike other prediction sites, where you have to manually check each result, we have two ways of aggregating the performance of our predictions: by match (we show you the predictions before the match, and the outcomes after the match) and by league (where we aggregate all the predictions from a season).

Why do we do that? We do it to make it simpler for you, so you can easily find the types of predictions (or betting markets) where our models are the best. Let's see how they work.

We have two models, one which analyzes the probabilities of odds (we call it the "market model"), and another one which looks at the H2H meetings and their data. Finally, after gathering data from both parts, a final choice is made – that is our final prediction.

For the main three markets (Full Time, Both Teams to Score and Match Goals Over/Under 2.5) we employ both models. Usually, the market model tries to always find a winner (on the assumption that in any soccer match, both teams will try to win the match), while the H2H model is more analytical and open to results like draws. You will sometimes find a draw as a possible outcome of a match if you look at the H2H model prediction.

You will also see some contradictions in the models, either for the same betting market (that's a disagreement) or between markets (for example, both teams to score, one team to win and under 2.5 goals – a combination which seems impossible, right?). This shows you that caution is advised if you want to place a bet on all three markets (like an accumulator bet).

The rest of the predictions come as "tips" and, in our view, are highly valuable. Double Chance is directly linked to the choice for Full Time, while team corners and cards (when odds are available) can bring value bets if done right. For Goalscorers we present multiple tips, while keeping you informed about the actual goalscorers in the team's last 10 matches. Again, if done carefully, the Goalscorers market can yield good results.

Finally, on each league predictions page you can find the outcomes listed by match, or all the outcomes aggregated by market and accuracy. We don't hide failures or successes.

For those of you who like betting on live matches, we have a pretty nice feature: for each live match we compile the live probabilities of winning according to market odds. This is refreshed every 2–3 minutes.

In the end, what is important is that you don't take our predictions (or any other predictions) blindly. Always do your due diligence before placing a bet (be it a single bet or accumulator). Keeping good discipline, never adding emotions to any bet you make, and always staying informed with the latest news are crucial for a successful betting strategy.
